Cancer Test, The Various Types

A cancer test is critical because it can lead to early detection. It is also important for people to understand that some tests can be false positives or negatives and therefore one should not rely on any one test. There are however several cancer detection tests.

Anti-malignin antibody screen (AMAS) test is designed to pick up cancers before other signs and symptoms. It can be used to detect cancer before any conventional medical tests. The shortcoming of this test is that if the cancer is advanced and the anti-malignin antibody is wiped out, the test wont work.

DR-70 is a cancer test where blood is screened for 13 different cancers all at the same time. It is highly specific and detects cancer way in advance. Lung, colon, breast, stomach and liver cancers can be detected through this test. Ovarian, cervical, thyroid, pancreatic as well as other malignant lymphoma can also be detected using this test.

Biological Terraine Assessment (BTA) is a computerized device that measures one's blood, saliva and urine for the number of electrons present. It also measures the pH balance as well as the minerals present in the mentioned fluids. More specifically, this test shows if the cellular movement is too acidic, if there are too few electrons to produce energy or if there are too few minerals to buffer the acids.

Endoscopic ultrasound is another cancer test that is used to detect tumors. This test also helps in diagnosing G1 cancers. Unlike traditional endoscope, the endoscopic ultrasound looks through the tissue into the surrounding organs. Thermography is another test that uses thermal imaging to detect blood vessels and chemical changes associated with a tumor's growth.
