Breast Cancer is one of the oldest forms of cancer tumor. Nowadays it is one of the most common forms of cancer among females. It stands in the second position after the Lung cancer. This type of disease has started from the year 1970. The reason for the occurrence of the breast cancer is the part, which is mainly comprised of many tissues in both males and females. Trend changes day by day, likewise diseases also have increased. Breast cancer not only occurs in females but it also occurs in males. Though the disease is for both males and females, the chance for males is little bit low when compared to females.

The minute cancer was discovered in Egypt people thought that it cannot be cured. But nowadays there are lots of surgical equipements to cure all the diseases. Edwin Smith Papyrus explains about 8 cases of tumours or ulcers of the breast cancer, which were treated by cauterization, with the tool name called 'the fire drill'. His writing says that 'There is no treatment'. For centuries, our physicians tried to find out the alternatives to cure the diseases, but they returned back with the sad and bad conclusion. They conclude that there is a link between breast cancer and lymph nodes in the armpit. The successful removal of the lymph nodes, breast tissue and the underlying chest muscle was first removed by French surgeon Jean Louis Petit in the year 1674, which was followed by the Scottish surgeon Benjamin Bell in the year 1749.

Age Limit:

The probability of getting breast cancer rises with the age. They can easily get affected by their age. One who crosses the age of 90, the percentage of getting breast cancer is 14.3% during their lifetime. One type of breast cancer that is aggressive and often occurs in younger people is Inflammatory Breast Cancer. The symptom of a breast infection is mastitis.
